The calculation of road paints has two ways:

1- Calculating the thickness of the road paint during the paint work at the site as follows:

A metal plate with temperature up to about 220 ° C

Method: -

- The width of the paint (W) and its length on the metal plate (L)

- The metal plate (W1)

- The metal plate is placed under the paint car on the path of the paint line without the glass beads (Glass beads).

- The metal plate with the paint (W2)

- Take the paint density from the certificate of conformity or the certificate of the incoming (S.G)

Accounts: -

The weight of the paint (W) = the difference between W2 and (W1)

Paint size (V) = Weight of paint / paint density (S.G)

Paint thickness (H) = paint size (V) / paint length (L) × paint width (W)

2- Calculation of the thickness of road paints upon receipt:

- Correction of asphalt in place of paint path

- Asphalt height measurement and paint together

- Scrape the paint from the asphalt layer

- Measure the height of the asphalt core

- thickness of road paint = the difference between the height of the corr with the paint and the height of the cor without paint

Specification limits for paint (1.5 to 2.5 mm)

(Minimum 10% to 15% of the weight of the paint)
